The Perseids Meteor Shower…Somewhere out there

It begins tonight, but it continues through the 13th. One of the most beautiful celestial events of the year. Just after midnight, and on until the first blush of dawn, the sky will be filled with mysterious streaks of light… The Perseids Meteor Shower has returned. What a great opportunity for us to step outside, on a warm summer night, to look up in wonder at something so much bigger than we are. Here is a chance to step outside ourselves and remember that we really are an important part of this wonderful universe. For me it is a reminder that no matter where we are, beneath the great big sky, we are one in purpose and service. Thanks for sharing…
